Treasurer

The church finances are a key component of everything we do in ministry at MUMC.  The treasurer works as a support to the Pastor, all of the ministry leaders and the Church Council, in order to make sure that our budget is being met short term and in planning long term for our future.   This includes constantly evaluating that our financial goals are in line with our church mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

As we continue to grow, a focus on promoting financial stewardship has become increasingly important at MUMC.  This includes programs such as electronic offering, congregational communication, and stewardship education among others.  We strive to help folks understand the importance of giving as an act of generosity, focusing on the spiritual growth of trust in giving back to God, rather on the church's need to receive.  If you have questions about our church finances or would like to learn more about what this ministry area does, please contact me at annmckee@verizon.net.
