Here at MUMC, we believe that everyone invested in kingdom building will be in mission and ministry. Each person has the opportunity to have a ministry within the church and a mission in the community.

Serving in ministry means that each of us serves in our church by volunteering to shake hands and welcome others, leading a life group, helping with VBS or a ministry within the church or serving coffee. Serving in ministry comes out of our spiritual gifts given to us by God and brings us great joy to see how our gifts brings honor to God.

Serving in mission means that folks volunteer and serve in the community in some way. Some check on shut-ins throughout the week. Others volunteer at the shelters, food banks, schools and hospitals. We are excited to share our stories of how God s touching lives through our service in our community.

Our faith is not just talk. We want to walk our faith and be a witness of God’s grace and love to all we meet!
